36+ wooded acres, half (south side) old deciduous forest and half (north side) old overgrown orchard. The entire property is within a cove, mostly sloped, but with some very nice land and 4WD trails throughout. The lower part of the property includes a bamboo grove where 10 different varieties of bamboo were planted 20-years ago. On a flat section in a maple grove, there's evidence of an old cemetery with burials from 1869 to 1901 (ask me how we determined that), from the well-weathered limestone gravestones. Good hunting is said to exist on this parcel. This parcel has a documented recent utility easement for electric/phone line extension, although the lines will not be extended until the owner makes arrangements with the power company. Two drivable 4WD trails lead from the main driveway (formerly old Cameron Orchard Rd) through both sides of the cove. It appears they once connected for a huge loop trail, but the bamboo has covered the lowest part of the trail. This 36 ac was the remainder when an earlier owner divided and sold 22-ac and an existing home from the 58-ac parent tract. Assessor records erroneously indicate a structure on the property. None exists... I'll get that cleared-up with the tax office. Historically, one owner (Homan) has a right-of-way over the driveway that is the Western boundary for this parcel.
